Soggy Stowe

I met three friends this morning at Stowe for a walk. I think we managed half an hour before the rain started, but as it was quite light we continued for another hour before getting to the cafe. Good timing as it started chucking it down and the remaining cafe tables all got taken quickly. I’d been due to meet another friend there in the afternoon, but we’d chatted by email in the morning and decided to postpone. Another lovely catch up, despite the rain, and lovely to visit Stowe again. The vast majority of the 3.5 hour drive back was in the rain, then as I crossed into Norfolk the rain stopped, the temperature rose and the sun came out.
