The topic for today's art class was self portraits. Nine learners, varied skill level but a nice group who worked well on the various drawing activities, though there is one participant with some noticeable special needs which I wasn't expecting and need some advice about. 

A quiet afternoon in recovery mode before meeting Marshall, Kieran, and Kate in Arnavutkoy for drinks and dinner. We went to a bar I've not been to before called Kavanoz. The food was delicious, really excellent, but the drink was absurdly expensive - even for Istanbul @ 395tl for a cocktail (£11 or $15).
