Cuscuta epithymum

Clover dodder - Hellweed - Strangle-tare, just a few of the common names for this parasitic plant that I came across this morning on the heath. I think I'm going to get in touch with DWT as I'm not sure that they would be happy knowing this plant was on the nature reserve. I've only come across Dodder once before and that was on a stretch of the SWCP south of Westward Ho! It had a disgusting smell. :-((
