Never return......

..... an empty vessel, container, plate...... In some cultures it is customary when given something, normally food, to never return the vessel empty. I'm not sure if Alison, would know of this but I had brought her a box of veggies from the plot, she was coming along the pavement as I pulled up outside Mum's. Perfect timing I thought, she was heading up to Pixiewood to get some Victoria plums they were giving away, so I left the veggies inside Mum's gate for her to collect on her way back. 3 Victoria plums & container for me when I returned with Indie after our walk. :-)
Mum & I spent an hour on the jigsaw puzzle then headed up to Chudleigh... Roast pork, with plot veggies, followed by blackberry & apple crumble, & very thick custard. Ops! We watched Countryfile together then I dropped her home.
