The Flamenco Dancers Dress

This is a bit of an abstract photo. I wanted to take photo's of flowers today and there were a few around, Azalea's, Euphorbia's, Columbines, Clematis and a few more. While they were all open and drinking in the sun, this bright Red Poppy took my eye. It hasn't opened fully yet and that's what I liked, It was gradually opening and drying it's folded petals like a butterfly dries its wings and pumps them with fluid to straighten them. So this Poppy was part open and unfolded and with its bright red colour, it reminded me of a Flamenco Dancers Dress with all its folds. So this is my abstract Flamenco Dancer Poppy!
