Cheap sweets

My taste for garish looking confectionery has not diminished over the years. After a busy few days the family left around midday, I spent some time restoring the flat to its single occupancy state, collected the car after its service and first MOT, and then to Shawlands to pick up a parcel from the Newlands Post Office. On the way I passed Newlands Cafe which is famous for its sweets and ice cream. I could not resist these chocolate satins displayed in the window along with all manner of delights.You don’t get many in a 100 gram bag (paper) which I suppose is just as well.
