In search of yellow

Is it my imagination, or are there less rapeseed fields this year than there have been in previous years? I set out determined to find fields of that vivid yellow, and could not find any in my area - fields where previously they had been planted with rapeseed were now growing corn.

I was determined to find some fields of yellow, a bit like Dorothy searching for the yellow brick road - I ended up with this yellow field of buttercups.
