So Sad

We visited the H's for a cuppa this afternoon.
It was good to see them - but not to hear the news about  Max ..... the dog I used to walk. He is going to get a visit from the vet on Tuesday. 
It will be his last one. He has a huge tumor which was found during a routine check-up ... you wouldn't know there was anything wrong with him.
He still comes over and pleads to have his ears scratched - not so much  when there are treats on the go. Buzz (his house-mate) hasn't developed the spectacular bubble technique when the canned treats appear though.
Mind you - Max hasn't taken to disappearing and coming back with a very dubious 'toy' to lick and chew on (Mrs H denies all knowledge about it).
