A Bumpy Ride
It was Bristol again for work for me (Annie). At least it was a lovely early morning drive this time through bright sunshine - it does make a difference. Overriding my urge to just keep going along the motorway to the seaside, I spent the sunny day in the office. But before leaving to return home, I went for a lovely waterfront walk in the evening sun. This "bike" was chained to the waterfront rails - you have to wonder whether they've worked out what the quick release wheels are actually for? Is there someone in Bristol somewhere lugging around the remaining impractical unicycle?
My commute meant I missed the girls being here this evening. Chris spent time with them photographing - one for a blip, and the other for a tech project. Chris was then out later, so I was asleep in bed by the time he got home! He was meeting with his photo club's president and other joint programme secretary to work out the summer set of activities. A long day for both of us!
I've become aware that the words lately have been more from Chris than from me. I have been busy - burning the candle at both ends and singeing in the middle too. But most of the time it is still both of us writing together - it just gets really clunky to read if we don't pick one of us as the first person voice! I have been quiet on commenting lately though - there's just not enough hours at the moment. Sorry.
