Suprises

We decided to drive out to see the incredibly high tide at Holkham this morning. Never seen it up to the steps before. MrK and I then had a bacon buttie in the hide as the rain continued to pour. On leaving, the swifts were flying around and Stu noticed a nest of 5 babies in a nest in the rafters.
We then drove back to the beach at Wells, and surprisingly the rain stopped and sun made a brief appearance, so I quickly changed into swimmers and went for a dip. What an unexpected joy on such a grey day.
Did some jobs at mums and dinner at the Aviator. Played games back at the cottage for an hour or so and it was good to see FK smile again.
