Fun In The Sun

Kids having fun and keeping cool in the ever increasing June heat.

June, historically is our hotest month, averaging 102F (38.8 C) but today was one higher than that, and way higher than normal for this date.

In a couple of days, they say it might get as hot as 106F (41C). I'll believe it when I see it.

I didn't bring enough water with me today but the grocery store wasn't far away. I grabbed one bottle in the store and drank the entire thing down almost in one gulp. Then I took another one out with me for the drive home. Finished that almost by the time I got out of the parking lot.

Pushed electrolyte drinks when I finally got home. I just spent too much time out in the sun. I always learn the hard way.
