Aboyne Highland Games

Started the day by driving the16 miles east from Aboyne to Crathes Castle for Parkrun.

I did the event last year and it was a challenge again with a hilly route. Didn’t manage to beat last years time but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Then back to Aboyne and we all headed down to the Highland Games. It was a great afternoon but a pity about the weather.

There was hammer throwing, caber tossing, tug of war, running and a many more fun events. (See extras)

I even met the lady who I met at the top of Ben Klibreck last week.

Going to have a chilled evening.
