Surprise Exposure

I have been having problems getting clear photos (birds mostly) with one of my cameras, so I decided today was the day to mess with the camera. This plant is about 5 feet from the bird feeder, and I took the photos (50, all with different settings) through the window, which is what I do with the birds. This type of image, with the dark background, was not at all what I was attempting, but these were what I liked best.
I learned some things about the camera today, which is most important!
