A fine easy start to the holiday, left at the leisurely time of 9.30. P&O kindly sent a txt telling us they were looking forward to seeing us for 2 pm . Mike thought 3.30. After confirmation of indeed a 2 pm sailing and goggle maps eta of 13.35, Mike put his foot down and a rocket powered camper shot up the motorway to Northern Ireland . We cruised in for 13.35 - yeah . Calm crossing to Cairnryan and walked on fabulous closed mountain bike trails .
Dinner was at a wee pub in Galloways National Forest , we had excellent haggis tapas !
Walked it off along a riverside laneway scattered with hand painted stones - see extra . Cosied up in camper and lots of rain forecast in next 24 hrs - home from home !
