Peacock

Aha! Some sunshine! We rushed off to walk the butterfly transect, and were rewarded with a few silver washed fritillaries, and a few other things, sadly reduced by that foul weather.
Back home, the Buddleia has become beautifully populated with Peacocks, commas, red admirals, large whites, small tortoiseshell. It’s a real delight to see and quite a relief after long weeks of rain.
