Baking again

Disaster day 3! We had the car battery fail; we had the Aga fan conk out; today the fridge decided it had reached the end. Water all over the floor and when I plugged it back in the motor unit didn’t start! Not good for baking quiches is it? We had a rapid look at Currys and ordered something to be delivered tomorrow. However when I checked the old fridge again it had cooled down so I will be able to get on with the pastries.
I have been baking a few cakes too, as Janet and I have agreed to do a cake stall in Carnforth on Saturday. It makes a change to do cakes and they are smelling great!
