Regent's Canal

Another beautiful day and after a full English we sauntered up to King's Place for a a coffee and an orange beside the Canal.

Today was the whole staff away day. About 250 of us so there was a lot of noise!
It was a good day. I made my 30 second contribution and enjoyed the inputs. We had sweet treats in the afternoon and Edinburgh got a mention a couple of times.

Then after a quick glass it was back to king's Cross for the train north. This time, however, Coach B was an oasis of calm and emptiness.

The cold is much better.

There was still light in the sky when we arrived back, late - BTP called at one station and children on the line south of Durham. It waas 11.15 before I got home. A long day.
