Summer!

It arrived today but I was in the office all day.

After yesterday's long day I woke late and started the day having to clear up 4 day old coffee mugs - not a happy bunny.

I did sit on the balcony at lunchtime and it was a lovely day.

I had an ominous text from #2 son this afternoon and picked up when I collected dad's car. It turned out not to be as bad as I'd feared, but bad enough. Decisions to be made. The joys of being a single parent. We sat in the garden in the sun and ate grilled chicken and salad. Then he discovered all the clothes he'd left in a box in the flat including many football tops.

I am really glad May is over and all the travelling that went with it. But I'm not sure if my other plans can go forward. There may be changes afoot.

I've never photographed the Elephant House although it is favoured by tourists who like to think of the JK link. But there it was on the other side of the road while I ate a chocolate and vanilla cone and waited fro a #41. Like I said, summer.
