Urban Pond

In the centre of the development where B/C and the children live they have a pond, a dell and playground with a lot of wildflowers and trees.  There’s goldfish in here which I am not sure marry with frogs and things (maybe they do) but it was a cheery sight.

A quick hop to Farringdon where the cutting room is, near the station and tucked among the gold and silver shops that always make one think of robberies rather than engagements.  Episode 1 is shaping up well…I think. Still a long way to go on a lot of elements…

Dropped my bag off at the hub in Covent Garden and then met Emily at the theatre, resolving to use a bit of the summer to mop up plays I hadn’t seen, to see Patriots.  I enjoyed it because I was interested in the subject and the performances were terrific.  Not sure how good a play it really is but the second half especially was powerful.

We went over to Sloane Square for a bit of supper and the second play of the day…at the Royal Court where we were taken with the agent.  A play called Cuckoo that was a bit underwhelming.

Endless rain today, at times torrential. Depressing
