Fontainebleau

A day with 90 percent rain. At least 90 percent!
It didn't bother us for a few hours because we viewed the beautiful interior of the chateau from the inside and took in all the information. At the souvenir shop of the museum I bought an English version of a book about the history of France.

After a lunch in the boulangerie not far from the chateau and where everyone seemed to want to wait out the downpour outside, we set out for a walk along all the important surviving buildings at the time of the monarchy, in the town.

Fontainebleau is a small beautiful town. The rain didn't really matter. The rain also eventually diminished in intensity.
