Out for a walk.
Our older son, daughter-in-law, 11 day old grandson and wee dog came for lunch. It was a pleasant affair, everyone is well. We all went for a walk around the area afterwards. My wife was in charge of the pram for the first time. Over thirty years ago my mother was the pram pusher in our neighbourhood; our first son tucked up inside - life moves on. My wife hasn’t lost the knack, and she steered the pram expertly between the cars after our walk too (extra photo!).
We’ve received many nice cards and well wishes. They have too, and many thoughtful baby gifts. Great days.
In amongst all that’s on our younger son and partner went off on a cruise. A close friend is a travel agent, he set them up well. Travel arrangements etc went to plan, early photos in a shared album, looked great.
We went to the Macrobert Arts Centre to see a screening of Local Hero, first released 40 years ago. It was lovely, it sparked memories of that period in time. The University of Stirling campus looked very fine this evening.
