Anticipation.

We looked forward to the first of the Scotland warm up games for Rugby Wotld Cup 2023 with anticipation. We’d read some of the rugby press, seen stuff on social media and so on. The game, against Italy, was okay, sometimes quite lacklustre; it felt like Scotland fielded a B team, the coaching staff trying out some new permutations and players - some won’t make the squad after first cut. Scotland won. France next weekend; RWC2023 hosts and second in the world… it’ll be different.
