I think they look sweet

The weather is surprisingly lovely for August.

Ukrainian commanders estimate that 60% of their material support early in the war came from volunteers. Even now, with all the help from us, Ukrainian civil society is essential. Free Spirit, a charity group of lawyers and marketers, communicates with soldiers and delivers whatever they can. They’ve provided over 400 vehicles, 75 communications devices like Starlink receivers and satellite phones, 13 tons of batteries and generators, 60 portable power stations, reconnaissance drones, and over 100 tons of misc like food, cots, mattresses, and clothing. There are lots of organizations like this and, unlike government, they can get stuff and deliver it in weeks.
At least 20 military enlistment offices in Russia were attacked on Tuesday. Nine were attacked the day before. Russia has expanded the age range of people who can be drafted. The Russian media has a really weird explanation for the attacks, that somehow the people committing them are victims of telephone scams.
