It begins!

Woke to another premium bonds win (although much smaller than last month!) and bucketing rain….
Had to brave the wet for another walk across town to meet up with another of the governors for our regular review. Good long chat and a cinnamon bun treat along the way, then back home, still in rain. Thank goodness for a golf umbrella! Stopped off at the bike shop and chatted to the guy who’s chasing down the problem with the battery release mechanism. We’re getting nowhere with the warranty people but at this rate it may mean the whole thing needs replaced.
Home and settled down to some serious Fringe research and excel spreadsheet construction for the next few days. Took ages and not straightforward but I stuck at it and made progress. Later in the afternoon I went to the Underbelly launch and enjoyed seeing a clip of several acts…starting to get in the mood! I was due to go on to the Assembly launch too but arrived there for 7pm only to find that that was the time the bar opened but the show wasn’t til 8pm…I didn’t want to wait around so came home for a sandwich supper and an episode of The Repair Shop.
