Wavy but I see no Sea!

I had any early start today after I woke up completely disorientated thinking I was still in Stromness with the sea outside the window to my left and finding that I was instead looking at the wardrobe. The distraction was enough to galvanise me into action and go food shopping just after 7am- that timing will not last! 
I rewarded myself with a Söderberg coffee and was further rewarded with another coffee and an almond croissant by daughter#1 on her way home from the swimming pool.
 The joiner arrived on cue to fit shutters in the study and with a smile from me (and a packet of choccy biscuits) the gardeners who look after the communal gardens trimmed back my burgeoning Hydrangea Petiolaris and Boston Ivy which were in danger of taking over the building. 
The bag of wool I used for crocheting in Orkney and which I mailed home on Friday arrived at lunch time and now I await a delivery of 5mm swimming gloves. 
As for the leak which does seem to have dried up, the building insurance excess is £10,000 if there were any structural things needing done.
The excess on my household insurance is £450 so I think it’ll be a private paint job but I’ll wait a bit to make sure the floor above is totally dry. It certainly was a rude awakening on my return from a lovely holiday.
