How do they do it?

Our buddleia bush is in full bloom just now , but no butterflies about!
However, I caught this humming-bird hawk moth.
Nature never fails to amaze me.
Just how does this smallish insect manage to hover around the blooms and aim his long proboscis to gather nectar!
All that brain power and muscle control.
P.S. I think the extra suggests where Marge Simpson got the idea for her hairstyle from!!
