Dove Drama (True Story)

She sat in the seed tray, "all of this is mine', she cooed!" He made several attempts to settle next to her. Likely more interested in the millet than he was of getting close to her. But she was having none of it! He finally managed to wear down her resistance, gobbling as much seed as possible before she chased him off. Then, he made his move, startling her into flight. "I was too full to eat even another beak-full", she exclaimed as she flew off.
I clicked off almost a hundred shots of these two while trying to capture the drama playing out at the feeder.
