The first dance

A marvellous wedding which we thoroughly enjoyed. Even the rain which held off until the ceremony was about to begin didn’t dampen the event. In was a case of in out, in out as the rain came and went which meant the wedding was 75 minutes later than planned.

In the end the ceremony was held inside with us all sitting in our places at our respective tables. The groomsmen carried in the flower arch and the carpet to complete indoor transformation. Great speeches, plenty of champagne and wine and a free bar accompanied excellent food and all round hospitality. The wet wedding will be remembered for a very long time.

A fine ceilidh band, the Bahookies provided some rocky music for dancing which all went well. We got away just before we turned into pumpkins
