Calanais Stones

We left Harris and drove to Lewis for today's orienteering after which we did a quick tour of the tourist spots of Lewis. The Blip is the 5000 year old Calanais stones in the shape of a cross with the circle and burial mound in the centre. All very interesting. The extra is a collage of a broch , some blackhouses and some wonderful Lewisian Gneiss sones on a beach
