Giulio, a friend of us arrived at noon down here for a few days. So we took the bikes for a nice afternoon ride besides the river Maggia, to Intragna, up to Arcegno and Gruppaldo, down to Ronco sopra Ascona (nice views over Lago Maggiore towards the Maggia Delta and the Brissago Islands) over to Monte Verita and finally down to Ascona and back home. 30km, 3 hours, 355m altitude, 30° and still mostly blue sky.

Melanzane alla Parmigiana followed byTagliolini with truffels and Merlot Rosso at Isolino tonight.
