This huge church of San Pedro de Murueta is opposite my hotel in this most beautiful of areas.  The guide says ‘it constitutes a gem of Renaissance architecture’.  It is huge, considering this is just a hamlet.


Had early morning walk and the gorgeous scents and the sound of cow bells took me back to when we camped near here about 14 years ago.  Then we had also taken our bikes and I brought back a cow bell which still hangs on my back door and transports me back to this area whenever it clangs.
