You, Me and the Balloons

Son no 2 (aka Chris) took today off work, to spend time with his aged parents. He treated us to lunch at a local tapas restaurant and then we went to this fabulous exhibition. I’m ashamed to say that I hadn’t even heard of Yayoi Kusama and yet apparently she’s one of the world’s most loved artists and is known as the Princess of Polka Dots. She does have an unbelievable back story. It did feel like I was hallucinating at one point. The best bit was lying on the giant, inflatable cloud cushions! The real clouds cleared and the sun came out in the afternoon. Lovely day.
