Ice Cream and Hey Duggee

Showery and cool again this morning so Mr P and I headed up to the Hydro for a gym session and a swim. Home via the town and then my friend Marianne arrived with her grandchildren, Fergus and Edie. After a Lego play with Mr P, Marianne and I took them to the park to let off some steam. We stopped off at Caldwell’s for ice cream on the way back. It didn’t disappoint unlike our Skoda Yeti that was in for its MOT today, which unfortunately it failed. We’ve decided to bite the bullet and buy a new (used) car. Our dilemma was how to get to North Berwick tomorrow morning for our dog sit weekend without a car. We were anticipating a very early start and a 3 hour bus and train journey but thankfully thechimp came to the rescue by lending us a car.
