Hawthorn blossom

I took a whole lot of white blossom photos today and the one I chose was the first one I took (just cropped a little). The lighting looked right on it - some that I took were too blasted with sunlight and didn't look good. There are loads of hawthorn trees and bushes round here and they are at their peak at the moment. The breeze is still strong today, but isn't as cold and we have had sunshine all day. Went to Home Group this morning which went quite well (and was looking at the most beautiful hawthorn in their garden - having not taken my camera!) The ones around the village were not quite as good, but still very pretty I thought. We had a Chinese takeaway for lunch, which was gorgeous. Does anyone else think that Chinese food seems to really suit a hot day?!
