White lilac

I am thinking maybe I will do a theme of white blossom for at least the next few days - or possibly a week. There's so many different types around at the moment and it comes out well in a photo. This is the lilac that is at the end of our garden that was originally given to me in a pot by a girl at Junior School on the day we left. Cuttings from it have moved to wherever I have lived - firstly with my parents, then with hubby once we had a garden in 1986. I did take a photo of some lovely deep red peonies, but red doesn't seem to come out too well on a camera...

Kindle Fire HD has arrived. Have tried some of my music on it. Sound isn't as good as I'd anticipated and am having to use a small supplementary speaker. It does run smoothly, which the netbook doesn't - you get crackles and freezing with it. But I'm so fussy about sound, that I think it may be going back.....:-( My little iTouch has better bass sound - I've just done a comparison running a YouTube video using the same plug-in speaker. I can't help being fussy! ;-)
