Beinn a' Chaisteil

Went for a walk up Beinn a'Chaisteil, in Strath Vaich, today with M.  Cycled 8km from Blackbridge to Lubachlaggan, and then it's not a long walk to the top up an old stalker's path.  The water in Loch Vaich is very low, as you can see in the blip --- on the OS map that narrow river between the two stretches of water is part of the loch and it's all one stretch of water. 

One of M's brake blocks fell off on the way out and I went back to look for it: I did find it on the track but it's remarkable how similar sheep poo is to a bicycle brake block!
