Same Place, Long Time

I listened to a podcast the other day with an interview of a photographer. He was asked for the best advice he was given, to which he replied words to the effect "Most people say right place, right time is vital, but more important is same place, long time". That seems to reinforce to me that the blip habit is a good way to work.

All images I can recall of hummingbirds show them in flight and that is how I have seen them as well. This was the only time I've seen one at rest and so close too. I feel lucky, but I walk this way with a camera most days, looking and watching.

Extras:
Pinocchio. A close up crop, just because.
So Close. Less than six feet away.
