English weather!

The warmth has gone and the rain has returned but the hardy surfers and swimmers still went out for a dip!

Today, due to the weather, we visited the War Tunnels, for more information check the link, which were dug by hand using captured prisoners and the tales of the hardships they suffered. Jersey was occupied by Germany for five years during the war and many stories are told as you wonder through the tunnels.
I'm pleased to say that a representative from Germany is now invited to the Liberation Day remembrance service each year.

On returning to the hotel it was decided to spend some time with the frizby on the beach with the Grandchildren which was cold and wet so only lasted 30 or so minutes.

Just 17 degrees today with rain and a stiff breeze the sea state was 4 with 1 metre waves.
