Sgurr nan Clach Geala

A day on the Fannichs in Kintail, did Beinn Liath Mhor Fainnich, Sgurr Mor and Meall a' Chrasgaith from Loch Droma with C,B+J. Today's blip is Sgurr nan Clach Geala from Sgurr Mor.  The crag has winter climbing routes on it --- the five dark gashes are unimaginatively called alpha, beta, gamma, delta and epsilon gullies.

The extra is a young red deer that I almost stepped on, hiding in the grass. It just stayed there and didn't move.  I think the mothers sometimes leave them, with instructions not to move from where they are --- perhaps mum has gone to the shops?
