Blipbear &Kiwi Ride the Rails!

Blipbear and Kiwi took the Amtrak Cascades route with us today, heading south for their next rendezvous -- in Oregon!

They were very well-behaved on the train, sleeping peacefully until we drew near Portland, when they wanted to look out of the window and watch for Union Station.

The tireless traveling duo is pleased to report that the weather in Portland is delightful (76F / 17C) and forecast to continue to be so through the week. They will be meeting several local blippers on Saturday before saying goodbye to us and spending some time with two more Portland blippers.

For now, they are sharing a cozy studio apartment with us in a pleasant NE Portland neighborhood, with parks, all kinds of eateries, and more within easy walking distance.

It's a good life!
