Granton from Cramond
22 degrees ! If you are booking a holiday in Scotland - get here fast!
Networking ALL day - it was exhausting.
I met two lovely ladies for morning coffee, and a handsome man for lunch. Goodness - it was SUCH hard work. After basking in the sun in the afternoon (with my book) - I took No 3 for her swimming lesson (easy now ! Don't get excited.... I sat at the side and read my book again).
For homework No 3 has to make a cozy shed for 'Percy the park keeper'. You can IMAGINE how overjoyed we were when we read THAT letter at school pickup time! There's NO WAY that the kids make these things - the adults end up doing them ! And they get VERY competitive about it. All week - gossip in the playground is about growing cress seeds to use as grass around his shed, nicking wallpaper samples from the DIY store and other top tips.
I shouldn't complain - my friend has twins and has to come up with TWO different 'cosy sheds'.
This evening I was sent to the supermarket at 10.00 pm to buy cress seeds. I had a brainstorm - I'll by the ready grown stuff ! Genius ! Can't wait for No 3 to wake up tomorrow and find out mum has already grown the grass for Percy's shed.
This evening's photography class was a pleasant evening at Cramond. We were falling over ourselves to take pictures of the boats, or the Weir, or the Island or the causeway - but I've picked this blip as it's a bit unconventional.
To the right is the Gasworks at Granton, in the middle is a bit of Ocean Terminal's new trendy apartments, and just on the left is the Bass Rock.
I hope you like it.
