Experiments

After walking Django on the old railway, and then a bit of procrastination, I got stuck into investigating Y's program, so that I can advise her on the best way to spend the final few weeks of her internship. My first approach failed because I didn't have time to install all the software she's been using so, in the afternoon, I tried a different tack. I learned a lot, and did a few interesting experiments.

I also experimented with my phone, seeing how it performs on full 30x zoom. This was the result. In truth, it's too great a magnification for the subject, but there's a limit to what's available from my home office.
