Promising

The two tomato plants that S gave me have survived and are looking promising.

A busy day at home, B’s focus has been on electrical jobs. I’ve been trying to adapt the paper pattern that I took from an abaya that R bought for work. She wants two more and as usual she thinks that Mum’s skills should stretch to the job!!! 

This afternoon the weather perked up a bit,  we took Amber into town, as I needed to buy a birthday card and some bread rolls. The town was very quiet, a few mums and children in the card shop buying balloons for their teachers. They obviously don’t break up school until tomorrow, but I should imagine many children are absent as JCB are a major employer in this area and it’s the start of their 3 week holiday break.
