Meadow at the ring of Brodgar

Sightseeing round the Ness of Brodgar today. This is the meadow round the huge ring of 22 stones.

We met up with a group at an outlying stone called the ‘comet’ stone, who invited us to all join hands in a ring round the stone to feel the spirit light running through the area. There is something unexplainable about taking part in a ritual that may be similar to rituals held in the same place for millennia. Just ignorant, puny humans taking part in the wonder of life and the world around them. We closed our eyes and stopped the planet for a few short moments.
