Where has our summer gone? 16c today!  Can I request a temperature between this and the 36+ we were in a week ago.  Around 26c would be perfect thank you very much.

Mr C has come back with an ear infection and cold so not feeling great.  He picked up some ear drops from the doctors on Thursday so hopefully will start working soon.  He often gets an ear infection after being away and we put it down to shower/sea water but I’m now wondering if it’s the flights too.

Anyway, today was a long standing date with our friends, J&S.  Since we last saw them they have had an adventure travelling around the USA for a month and we had our little jaunt to Corfu.

It was nice to catch up and they admitted that they squeezed too much into their travels without having time to really enjoy where they were (we had already thought that it was a full on itinerary).  They were also planning another trip to Australia and NZ and more later in the year but they’ve now said maybe next year.

A nice catch up and we will see them in a couple of weeks at the wedding as their eldest is one of the best men along with Josh.
