Who doesn’t love the Gruffalo

O was shattered when he went to bed last night, around 6ish and slept right through until 9 this morning. Wow!

It was Lucy’s first day of the holidays and she suggested that we take O to Battersea Park zoo today. Whilst she was having her nails taken off, I packed a little lunch for O.  In the meantime I had a text from Bex to say her cat had gone awol. She was beside herself after losing Toffee only a few weeks ago.  Toffee was incredibly friendly whereas Pixie is scared of her own shadow .  The long and short is Lucy and I went to Bex’s instead of the zoo and whilst Lucy gave O his lunch, Bex and I had a little walk around to look for her. We had to head home after a couple of hours.  Later, Josh popped over to Bex’s too to help her look but no luck…… I was more than happy though to receive a message at 9pm to say she was home. Phew!

O has been on top form again today. He is such a joy and I think I forgot to mention why he is with us lol. It was his mummy’s birthday yesterday and they have gone to Bath for a few days.  Tomorrow afternoon I will take him back to his house where Bex will stay with him until his mummy and daddy arrive home on Sunday.
