A trip to Cirencester

A two night visit to Cirencester which opened our eyes to new things:

The second largest town in Roman Britain - only London was larger

Lots of Roman artifacts in a very good museum

The tallest yew hedge in Europe - see the blip

St John the Baptist - one of the largest parish churches in England - https://cirenparish.co.uk/visit-the-parish/the-parish-church-of-st-john-baptist/.  There was an Abbey there too, but Henry VIII demolished it.
