Baby wolf

Wow, one cranky baby has worn me out today. Teething I suspect. Today has been a TRIAL!! My only respite, her two hour lunchtime snooze and a happy ten minutes playing on Chorlton Green when she seemed to temporarily forget her mouth doom.

My own fault really. Didn't employ The Calpol. And it was bedtime before the penny dropped as to what had been wrong all day. Her bottom gnashers are now coming through and it looks like there are a few more are joining the party on the top gum too.

Lovely weather but found it hard to enjoy it as most of the pram walk (see pic at Jackson's Boat) involved trying to placate her/apologising to strangers as she howled. Even dogs ran away from her. People must have thought I was pushing a baby wolf along the River Mersey.

To make matters worst Veg Gate continues. Audrey is pretty much refusing to be spoon fed lately and only wants finger food. Unfortunately she rejects all fruit and vegetables and favours toast or fish fingers, chicken nuggets and the like. I have to sneak spoonfuls of nutrients in her mouth when she's between bites. I sincerly hope this is a phase.

I read somewhere that babies can reject certain foods up to twelve times before they finally accept them. So I have been placing blueberries on her high chair tray every day for the past week. Am hoping for a miracle, a blueberry miracle.
