Charging Up the Fireless
No 10 got steamed up this morning and once up to pressure, a steam pipe got connected to the fireless and the charging process started. After much shovelling of coal and several charges the fireless was up to 100psi by the end of the day.
All will be repeated again tomorrow and up to full working pressure for the pressure systems safety test by the boiler inspector, but will be a lot easier as both locos are warmed up.
