Before and After

Earlier on in the year some paint on the car bonnet was blown off by the wind, I was not driving, the car was parked in the drive. It was just very windy. 
The original problem can be seen where the rust has taken hold. The other areas have come off since, usually in patches as I have been driving. Quite disconcerting seeing lumps of paint whizz past the window.
A very nice man offered to sort it out for a reasonable amount of money and he has done a good job.
To celebrate I took it to a professional car wash to clean the whole thing up. When they had finished she looked really good, its like having a new car. Shame it will mostly still just be used as a workhorse, shifting rubbish etc. An exception will be next week when I will be taking it to the Cambridge Folk Festival. It will now fit in well with all the other cars there.
